[Sansa Clip v1] Music Playback Crashing

(1/1)

meemer:
Sansa Clip v1, firmware 01.01.35, playback in 3.10 with LAME mp3 files will cause a crash after a varying amount of time. Sometimes it's 2 minutes into a song, sometimes it's after 3 songs. Regardless of when it happens, it always displays this message:

Data abort
at 3001913E
FSR 0x8
(domain 0, fault 8 )
address 0x766C6153

Pressing any button will cause the Clip to automatically reboot.

Occasionally it will crash completely and turn off without any error message and force me to reset it (hold the power slider for 10 seconds). I have no other music files other than LAME mp3 v0. Crashes occur whether I use the File Browser or Database navigation. I have tried to reinstall Rockbox and the crashing still occurs with the same error message. Apologies in advance if this has been solved before, as my searches turned up no previous postings with this error. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

saratoga:
That address is in the theme drawing code.  Which theme are you using?

meemer:
The crash occurs no matter what theme I use. I was originally using "rockbox_default_icons" and "cabbiev2" when it started to crash. And when I did a fresh install and used "DFKT_Minimum_Clip_V2," the same error code appeared.

Also, the fourth line should read "(domain 0, fault 8  )"

saratoga:
The current build has been rock solid for me, so you can try that.

meemer:
Thank you for the suggestion, saratoga. Since I've started using the current build on Sunday, I have not had a single crash.

I'm still a little confused as to why the error message shows the theme drawing code when I was using the default theme. I remember searching for that error code and seeing a bug tracker report on the DFKT Minimum theme, but nothing for using the defaults on 3.10.
