Sansa c200 V2 not listed in select you device in file system

I am trying to install rockbox on a sansa c200V2

when i plug the device into a Win7 box, it comes up as a printer or audio device in explorer.  Windows doesn't think its a drive so it doesn't get a drive letter.  Because of this it isn't listed in 'Select a device in file system' drop down list, so i cant install to it.  How do I get around this?

You won't be able to install rockbox until you've put the device into MSC mode and successfully mounted it with a drive letter in Windows.  Check that its in MSC mode.
