Sansa clip+ has crashed while on rockbox

I have seen people say on here that I should let it discharge.

How long would it roughly take from full to discharge if it's not being used?

Not sure what was happening at the time of crash as it's my girlfriends..

How do I know it has discharged? Just keep plugging it in until screen turns on?

Have you tried pressing the power button for 30+ seconds?
