pictureflow config does not save 'spacing' setting

i have edited the default setting of '32' to a different value when in the pictureflow settings, and this is retained until a new album is selected - going back to pictureflow it defaults back to '32'. manually editing the config file to a different value does not work either. anyone know how to force it to accept a higher value? pictureflow just doesn't run as smoothly or as quickly without this.

any help is appreciated! great help in the forum, just started using rockbox and it has solved SO many problems for my 5g video ipod.
