Gigabeat boot failure after disk repalcement

(1/1)

jorison:
Hello there,i need some help for my gigabeat F20.

Few days ago ,i updated the hard-disk of my gigabeat F20 with Samsung one(with CF
to ZIF adapter) ,formatted it to fat32 and installed Rockbox 3.10,booted it up ,picked a song ,enjoy the happiness of update.Everything went fine at first. when i checked the battery level from time to time ,Rockbox gave me an irregular one (higher one some time after and 'fake' quick power loss)Samsung's disk is 3.3v 400ma VS Toshiba's 3.3v 500ma,it should consume less energy in theory.

And then the machine suddenly freezed in the following day,no music came from ear buddy only electronic noise, and  the + button wont respond.I reset the player with power switch off and tried to boot again,it gave me an error message:system error 00000010

IS there a way that short out the disk wire(the zif adapter solder is exposed in air and may touch the metal back of gigabeat,it's really tight after the disk change) may lead to some chips inside gigabeat burned or mess the boot loader code in the flash or EEPROM whatever who charges the initial boot of gigabeat whoes failure can result to a Rockbox boot failure.can any developer explain that?i am just mad guessing .

I've tried everything on the forum and web i can found ,no lucky, hot swap, recovery procedure, what ever...
It still reports system error 00000010 or something similar like 00000001 depends on what disk you use.

cant revert to original firmware,Rockbox doesn't work either

anyone got an idea?
i change the hard-disk to the original one ,and it can be mounted as an usb drive on windows ,but no lucky with the new Samsung disk i try to update with.
