Rockboy. glitch/problem
« on: February 21, 2012, 08:42:20 PM »
There is something wrong with rockboy, the screan is too fare up when I am playing a game, and the upper quarter of the screen is at the bottom. like an old film when part of the top of the picture is at the bottom of the TV screen. I hope you understand what I am saying, I cant find a picture of it.

Is it just my mp3, or is it a problem with the rockboy file itself. If it is the file, if its not to much trouble  could you fix it and give a link to the new rockboy file?

Also it just might be a corrupted file, I have already come across 2 corrupted files and have easily replaced them with a download from your website, it could be the same case for this, do you have a rockboy file download, just encase its only a corrupted file problem.

Plugins are included in each build.  If you are finding corrupted files it might be worthwhile to check the file system for errors.

I didn't instal the build, I installed the release, sense that was the safest way. but are there patches or plugins that will fix this problem for releses?

I can't seem to find any patches to fix the problem with rockboy.

I don't think its a problem with rockboy anymore it might be the problem with the ROM .gb/.gbc files because polkimon and super Mario land don't have the displaced screen problem, or else its the rockboy reading them wrong or something, can it be fixed?

Can what be fixed?  Corrupt ROMs aren't Rockbox's problem.  What was the result of scanning the file system.

Sory, I don't know how to scan the file system, I don't know that much about computers.

Here's a method for Windows.  A search engine can help you find others.
