iPod video capacity issue
ezmrnrebel:
not sure where this should go, but here is the problem i am having...
I just recently loaded Rockbox onto a iPod video. i cleared off all of my mp3 that were previously on it. As i went to load FLAC files onto it, I noticed it will only let load approx 5 GB of data, when the total capacity of the iPod is around 26 GB.
Did I miss something? I apologize if this has been answered elsewhere.
Thank you!
Chronon:
Does your OS indicate the correct amount of free space? Maybe the file system is corrupted.
ezmrnrebel:
It says I have 27.4 GB used and I only have approx 5 GB loaded. I didn't have this issue prior to loading Rockbox.
Should I try to reinstall it? How else can I determine if the system is corrupted.

Your operating system probably has a tool for checking the disk for errors. In windows you can get it by right clicking on a disk and choosing "check disk for errors".
dreamlayers:
Are you sure you cleared off all the music, videos and photos that were there before? Stuff for the original firmware is in hidden folders, which are not shown by default.
