Sansa Clip+ doesn't get recognized

I think it is, I'm not sure though. I couldn't find anything newer than 3.10. Anyway, I tried a few times. And no luck. The only workaround is to remove the SD card, boot into RockBox and then insert it again. And update the database. If I start it with the card already inside, it won't boot. It'll give me the "ATA -3" error.

I don't mind, everything else works now. So this is only a minor hassle. I still can't figure out if this is a Rockbox issue or something to do with my card itself.

The "current build" link to the left will take you to a screen where you can download the latest build based on the very latest code in git.

Hi,

I've got the same errors when microSD card connected: "ATA error -3".
Rockbox can start after several power off/ power on with inserted microSD or starts every time if microSD card removed.

What I tried:

Rockbox 3.12 download.rockbox.org/release/3.12/rockbox-sansaclipplus-3.12.zip,
Rockbox Development build.rockbox.org/data/rockbox-sansaclipplus.zip,
bootloader created according to this page rockbox.org/wiki/SansaAMS
with "./mkamsboot clppa.bin bootloader-clipplus.sansa patched.bin"
where original firmware from mp3support.sandisk.com/firmware/clipplus/clipplus01.02.16.zip
and patch from download.rockbox.org/bootloader/sandisk-sansa/clipplus/bootloader-clipplus.sansa

Both 3.12 and development Rockbox builds failed to start on Sansa Clip+ with "ATA error -3" error but randomly can start. When it started there is no any problems with access to microSD card, also no problems with microSD on original firmware.

There is probably some problem with your card and the driver.  You'll have to wait for someone to improve the driver or get another card.

Thank you for reply.
I can test firmware with fixed driver when it will be available.
My card is Team Group microSDHC 8GB Class 10, player 4Gb SanDisk Sansa Clip+ SDMX18-004G-E46K.
