LastFM scrobbles only one folder
« on: February 10, 2012, 09:51:51 AM »
Hi,

I've just installed Rockbox on my Sansa Clip Zip, but I've noticed a problem with the LastFM logging functionality: when I play music that is stored in several different folders, only the files from the first folder appear in the LastFM log - the moment the folder changes, logging simply stops. In other words, let's say I have two albums, X and Y, stored in separate folders. My Clip Zip is set up to automatically switch to folder Y after all files in folder X have been played, but the songs from folder Y do not appear in the log. Any help with this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Edit: here's something even better. I played two songs from folder X, stopped playback, manually switched to folder Y and played a few songs there. When I opened the log, only the songs from... folder Y are there.  ???

It's possible that someone broke scribbling. File a bug report.

I figured out what the problem was. The files... had no tags :( I'm sorry for wasting your time :-\
