Playback skips with Jewels

The ones that the audio playback has to stop.
Sometimes I get "Data abort" errors while trying to open those (I just got one  )

That's just how it is right now.

Button presses take cpu power away from the buffering system.. animations, rapid clicking, lots of drawing, etc all just cause skipping in playback.

Unfortunate, but...

Sure, but it's weird that this state remains the same after quiting Jewels I think... And the symptom is different than when the buffer gets empty (when you get a little pause)...
That makes me think that maybe it's not directly related to the load of CPU, but I can be completely wrong

There's no reason it should be fine before entering jewels, but remain skippy after... either you're imagining it, or...

Well, I'm definetely not crazy
Apparentely, there is no reason to this, but Rockbox still is a very young piece of software on iPod's, so it may have bugs... I thought it was good to report this behaviour I'm getting with it

Oops, sorry, I saw the e-mail about the bug report and forgot to reply it
It's been a while since I don't play Jewels, but I'll update Rockbox, give it another try and report it back.

Okay, just tested and it is still happening

I played Jewels for like 20 minutes with no problems (it was one vorbis track) and had no problems (just one little skip), but then, when the new track started playing it begun to skip every second or so... Quitting Jewels didn't help, in fact, even restarting Rockbox didn't help
Every Vorbis file played would constantly skip, but I tried some MP3 and observed no problems...
After a few more reboots the skipping decreased, but I don't know why...

Well, I have no idea of what's going on, but it's really weird...

Maybe I'll try to record the audio output and post it here...

Do you have EQ on? That has made tracks skip quite often on my 5g...

Okay, just tested and it is still happening

The fact that it's persistent across reboots and that no one else has ever reported this problem leads me to strongly believe that this is most likely a hardware problem.

It's a really odd issue...
But if it were a hardware problem, maybe MP3 playback should be affected too, right?

Anyways, it doesn't bother me much because it just happens while playing Jewels... And normally I just listen to music because that's what Rockbox is about

On some of the plugins on my 30gig 5g, it skips, like on the decibel meter, but I'm guessing thats CPU.
