Ipod Video Freezes on Building Database No Files On player

I have an IPod Video that has had Rockbox loaded and was working fine at one point.   I wanted to wipe all files off the player, which I did with J River Media Player.  Now it just freezes on "Building Database... 519 found (Prev to return)".  I tried reinstalling rockbox and also restore with Itunes.

I think its a none issue that the database won't build unless theres at least one music file on the player.
