Ipod 5.5 80g some tracks suddenly skip to next track

I combed through the discussion boards but didn't see anything quite like my problem.

I am new to Rockbox. I bought an ipod 5th generation 80g the other day off craigslist.  I knew I was taking a risk but it was a good deal.  I installed Rockbox, installed music, and started playing it.  I love it so far and am really excited to break free of the Apple ecosystem.  But then some tracks suddenly skip to next track.  For example, during Beethoven's ninth the second movement skips to the third movement after a few minutes.  If you are a Beethoven fan you understand how horrible this is.

Anyway, I wonder if it is the hard drive itself.  I wouldn't mind just upgrading to a 240, but I want to wait if I can.  Any suggestions?

What kind of files?  Which build are you using?

aac and flac files, version 3.10
