Sansa Fuze hold switch

I have a sansa fuze v2, and lately the hold button just hasnt been working properly. Sometimes when i switch it to hold, the screen goes black and then a few seconds later the screen comes back on and the player is not in hold anymore even though the switch is set to hold. And someties when i switch it on from hold to change a song or something, the screen randonly start going from minimum brightness to maximum quickly over and over. It does not do this in the OF. I have reinstalled rockbox and the problem still persists.
