Archos Jukebox Recorder 20GB - Power over USB with Compact Flash Card!?

Hi,
I modified my Archos Jukebox Recorder 20 with a Transcend 4GB CF card and I found out later that I don't need batteries for USB Connection. On my PC the Transcend Card appears as a cf disk. I tried it on a USB car radio in a shop and it also worked ::) (I don't have a USB car radio ) - here's the proof:

Unfortunately an other Jukebox Recorder also with USB 2.0 doesn't work this way ???. If anyone knows if there are differences between Archos Jukeboxes (manufacturing year!?!?!) please let me know. Who tried this mod too? Please send all experiences to this matter.
