Archos Jukebox Recorder 20GB - Power over USB with Compact Flash Card!?

Hi,
I modified my Archos Jukebox Recorder 20 with a Transcend 4GB CF card and I found out later that I don't need batteries for USB Connection. On my PC the Transcend Card appears as a cf disk. I tried it on a USB car radio in a shop and it also worked (I don't have a USB car radio ) - here's the proof:

Unfortunately an other Jukebox Recorder also with USB 2.0 doesn't work this way . If anyone knows if there are differences between Archos Jukeboxes (manufacturing year!?!?!) please let me know. Who tried this mod too? Please send all experiences to this matter.
