i have the 4g V101.01.12A version. trying to upload rockbox to this unit but am having a difficult time. says un-mountable, check errors. first, i suck at doing this kind of stuff. i was hoping the data i downloaded would just lead me to a wizard and all i had to do was click a couple of ok's and agreements. didnt work. anybody help get this set-up? i had the joy of listening to rockbox on my buddies ipod and i was thoroughly impressed!

Having a very hard time understanding your message.

Are you just looking at the drive and see some file/folder with a Rockbox name or what is it exactly that is 'saying' something to you?

What is 'pulse'

By the way, you start by saying you were trying to upload Rockbox to the unit. What does this mean. Are you using the point and click RockBoxUtility as suggested in the install instructions? Or are you copying files?

Please provide more information. There is also a complete manual for your unit here http://www.rockbox.org/manual.shtml

You will have to wait on others. I saw your Topic title which references the Clip which I could provide help. I did not notice that it is the zip you are using which is currently an unstable port. I am unfamiliar whether special steps need to be used for install.

There is a specific thread here concerning the zip. It you have not already, you should  read through it.

EDIT: There is no reason to continue with this topic as you are already double posting in the NewPorts zip topic. One post is more than sufficient ;)
