Rockbox doesnt support external playback thru ipod speakers thru usb jack?

i tried playing my music thru an Ihome speaker set but it doesnt seem to work, is there any way to get it to play thru the ihome speakers?

I don't know how iHome is supposed to work, but bear in mind that Rockbox only has device drivers for MSC and HID over USB.

I have tried three or four different iPod docks with my rockboxed 5.5 gen.  No joy, they only work properly when booted to the Apple firmware.

its basically a pair of speakers in a folding case that i have, and it can recharge the ipod when using ac power.

i checked out the dock compatibility and according to it, it says its operational with ihome :o
