Rockbox_failsafe theme caused failure
Rusty Shack:
Do not try the "rockbox_failsafe" theme!
When I did, the screen went black. The top bar is black text on gray, but the rest is black on black. Fortunately, half of the RB menu is black on gray, and so it's possible to correct this mistake without uninstalling Rockbox, but it isn't fun.
Note: It was on a Sansa C240 v1. I deleted the rockbox_failsafe.cfg file (hopefully that wasn't a bad idea).
[Saint]:
Well...it is there for a reason.
As the name suggests, it is a failsafe. It is a theme that loads "when all else fails", basically, so that you can still use the player.
Loading this theme on top of another theme however can cause all sorts of fun behaviour, due to the fact that the failsafe has no idea what values were loaded by the previous theme and so, can't clear them.
You found this out the hard way.
Perhaps we should call it: *dont_touch*_rockbox_failsafe.cfg ;)

Rusty Shack:
The name "failsafe" is self-explanatory, but this theme clearly isn't.
Chronon:
Shouldn't the failsafe.cfg safely override whatever settings were set by a previous theme?
JdGordon:
fixed... i;ve disabled the backdrop image so the colours will work.
