bookmarking / recent bookmarks

I have an iriver IHP 140. I noticed on the 3.10 and current build, sometimes when I use resume playback, or recent bookmarks, I notice although the time bookmarked was correct, it sometimes bookmarked the next clip, and not the clip I currently was playing. Anyone else see this as an issue?

Also, is there a way to cleanout the bookmark file, and have it auto delete or have a clean function added? The bookmark file sometimes contains bookmarks to files that were deleted.

I noticed that the bookmarking seemed to be ok when you go to recent bookmarks or the bookmark file. However, when you resume playing, it most of the time chooses the next track in the playlist, not the current one last bookmarked.

Resume playback doesn't use the bookmarking system, and is somewhat limited. As you've noticed, it can get confused if you try to resume a file in a folder where the folder has been updated (resume only uses the index of the file in the directory).
