sandisk e250, how do you tell if player is v1 or v2

hello;
how do you tell which version v1 or v2 my player is?
the e250 player version is v03.01.16A
any help would be appreciated.

That's a v2.

The firmware version of a v2 begins with v03, while that of a v1 begins with v01
