Sansa Clip- noise instead of music

(1/2) > >>

musicfanat:
Sansa Clip v2, RB 3.9.1.
Sometimes short loud noise-like pops or clicks appear during playback. Usually they could not be reproduced at the same time of composition, but for same tracks occur quite often.
And finally I met an .ape file with similar but much more expressed problem.
After some time of playing loud noise appears and never stops. You can move to next track - it will start playing, but most likely will turn to noise after some time. This could be reproduced quite stable (not 100% but very often).

I can upload the file somewhere, but it is is large enough, 500M.

Please share the experience if somebody met such behavior before.

yapper:
Does this happen with 3.10?

musicfanat:
Unfortunately - yes

megal0maniac:
I've used all major releases from 3.8 through 3.10, now I'm running SVN builds and I've never experienced this issue, despite daily use.
Sounds like a possible hardware memory issue but I'm no expert.
Do you perhaps have smaller files which exhibit the same behaviour which you could upload, or does this happen with any file?
And would it be possible to record what happens from the clip+'s headphone out?

musicfanat:
I made a record to make it clear, what kind of noise I hear.

I'll try to reproduce the problem with shorter file.
upd:
The problem is reproduced quite stable with this file: (35MB)
