pause when changing play between directories
« on: January 13, 2012, 01:05:32 PM »
I have the "auto change directory" setting turned ON.
Is it possible to have a delay of say 5-8 seconds between the end of one folder and the before beginning (auto) play of the next folder?
thanks!
Mitch

Unless I misread, you didn't say which player. Hard disk target will take longer to get to buffering between directories than flash ones. Still, depending upon the directory structure, it can take quite some time for the playlist code to search and find the next suitable file when changing directories.

You could add a silent track to each directory (won't work too well if you shuffle, though).

Hmmm...I think I misread the intent of that post, more like seeing it as a recurring problem as if the OP was incredulous. HAHA. :D
