Support needed on How to use <Repeat A-B mode> with Cowon D2 port
steak:
Hi guys,
I cannot figure out how to use "Repeat A-B mode" with my D2. Could anybody help or redirect me ? I have already searched but did not find a solution.
I have followed the manual instructions (reminder below) but do get no results. Tried it with touchscreen mode set to grid/point, same problem. Thought bookmarking could affect this and set it off, same again.
So basically I think I just need the right button/touchscreen sequence, accurately described.
Regards,
--- Quote ---Rockbox manual
> Repeat mode set to A-B
> set Start Point (A) press "."
> set End Point (B) press "."
> reset the markers press "."
--- End quote ---
=> "." is what's actually printed in the D2 manual.
Sandisk Clip+ manual is more accurate AND working (I tried it on mine)
for instance :
set Start Point (A) = press <Power + Left>
I tried similar things on D2 like <shift power button left + pressing screen left>, etc..
With no success...
--- Quote ---> set End Point (B) press "Power + Right" (shift power button left while pressing screen right)
> reset the markers press "Power + Play" (shift power button left while pressing screen center OR menu button)> Repeat mode set to A-B
--- End quote ---

up
(edit: posting a reply brought the message back on screen. Still let me know if there was a better way)
Sorry to bring my post UP so soon but my post has vanished from

(I can still open it using a link but) while I'm writing this I have a red warning above of the subject line:
Warning: this topic has not been posted in for at least 120 days.
Unless you're sure you want to reply, please consider starting a new topic.
which is weird considering my post started last week and the date displayed is right (11/01/2012)
Would that be moderator/admin removing it ? Why if so ??
Anyway I still need to use [repeat A-B] on Cowon D2 and don't know how what buttons/screen to use...
Regards
Chronon:
Unfortunately the manual doesn't say which buttons to use. Either the manual is out of date, or the key map for the D2 actually doesn't define what buttons to use.

For what I understand the D2 should define buttons since the function is available in factory firmware... But I was not able to locate the key map on the forums and if I do, I most probably won't be able to do anything out of it...
Manual has never been up to date but usually it doesn't matter since we always find out or get hints from others, except this time ?
Also... my post keeps disappearing from the forum and when I get it on screen (though my profile !) I have a silly warning on top saying the topic has not been posted for at least 120 days (though I started it in january). I have posted to Moderators= "Rockbox" but got no answer. Anyone has a clue ?

I just checked the keymap and there is no AB repeat button.
