I don't think one exists for those players yet, although aside from keymaps and install directions they're pretty similar to most other devices, at least as far as the manual is concerned.

i just want to know why the "View" key pauses the player, why the Play button is a enter key and WONT serve as a Play/Pause function as the OF did i want to know why scrolling up and down while in the Now Playing controls volume when i have Volume buttons and i want to know why the Playlist Button has no function. I dont use the Playlist Button even in the OF but id like to map this botton to do something since it has no function.

Also id like to know Why the Voice feature wont SAY the info in the Database it either spells it or says a number both useless also is it possible to get the Voice to tell me the name and artist of the Currently Playing track?

We don't generally care what the OF did with the buttons; we use a fairly consistent button mapping across all devices that run Rockbox. It's possible that the buttons on this port are not ideal as I don't think many people use it. Write a patch.

The voice system can only play prerecorded clips; it's not a voice synthesizer. If you want it to speak names of folders/files/etc you need to generate talk clips on your PC using the Rockbox Utility. I don't think the database supports voicing yet, and we don't support voicing track metadata, only filenames.

I split this conversation off of another thread that was totally unrelated to this topic.

There's no manual for the GoGear devices just yet, because the GoGear-specific information hasn't been added to the manual's codebase just yet.

Does anyone actually have a GoGear anymore?  It would be nice to get that port cleaned up a little more, and perhaps even made 'stable'.

I have all three "unstable" models (HDD6330, HDD1630, SA9200). The ports have gotten a good cleaning up by b0hoon, but the manuals are about the only pieces we really need.

I now have a HDD 6330 is there a reason its far more buggy and unstable than the port for the HDD16x0 players?

How is this port "buggy and unstable"? Sure, the keymap is far less than ideal (and I need to really get my fixes for that submitted as a patch already!), but I've been able to make it through many a day using my HDD6330 as a daily driver. Music playback, as far as I'm concerned, is very stable on this platform (which is the most important part).

It is buggy as whenever i put it on the Dock or plug in my Gomadic car charger the keypad will always remain lit and keyclick will sound rapidly. It is also buggy in the Car Adaptor Mode in which the player will not resume playback once the player shuts itself off and the car is started. It will goto the Now Playing screen but not play at all. I get several hangups what require rebooting via siding the power switch then the Volume up key. Also the bootloader provided by the Rockbox Utility is no good it wont even boot the player i had to search the site and download the bootloader manually.

I don't think that has anything to do with car adapter mode (which isn't really relevant once the player has booted), but rather it just sounds like the port doesn't work well on your device when running off of AC power.
