Getting timeouts on checkout

It's the second evening I try to svn co and I'm getting timeouts. Is everything OK with the repo?

I just updated without an issue.  I don't know how helpful that is, but at least it's a data point.

Since theres been a lot of commits over the last two days, it would appear that the repo is working fine for lots of people.

As for your problem: if you never succeeded in checking out from SVN then you may be behind a firewall/proxy which is blocking the ports that SVN uses. This will probably also affect Git. However, there is a second, slightly slower way to check out from Git using HTTP, which should work on all network configurations. It's explained on the wiki page; if this is indeed the problem you had with SVN then this should work for you
