mpegplayer problem in 3.10

I just finally updated from the Kugel build to the current release, and found that mpegplayer locks up when I try to fast forward... I have to push the context button and quit out. This is on all my videos (that previously worked). I'm not generally pausing but not stopping a song to do it (so there shouldn't be a memory issue?). There hasn't been a change in the format, has there, or something that I'm doing wrong?

edit: I'm on a Sansa E200.
