USB working on Sansa AMSv2

(1/4) > >>

icheyne:
I installed today's build as I read that USB had been enabled for the Clip+.

It works as advertised - no more synching and rebooting after transferring files.

For some reason it took three attempts before Windows 7 64-bit installed the drivers and recognised the Clip+, but now it works fine.
Post Merge: January 05, 2012, 04:41:49 AMI just tried it in Windows XP and it worked perfectly there too.

It's a pity the original firmware starts when I plug in my Clip+ when it is switched off.

Anyway, great work devs.

This because you have not installed a bootloader/of merged with the latest mkamsboot available from svn.

icheyne:
OK thanks. I used the Rockbox Utility to update to the current build, but I didn't think to replace the bootloader.

mc2739:
You can update the bootloader with the Rockbox Utility, but the current release will not fix your problem since it does not yet include the updated mkamsboot.

bluebrother:
You can use an svn binary of Rockbox Utility. See my signature for a link (just uploaded new binaries today).
