Sansa Clip Zip: .m4a files cannot be seeked past 2:42:00

(1/1)

rpdillon:
Just got a Clip Zip in the middle of December and put RockBox onto it.  I listen to long tracks (trance mixes and audiobooks).

I'm in the middle of an .m4a audiobook and noticed that when I fast-forward past the 2:42:00 mark in the book, the counter wraps around past 0:00.  The file plays from the correct position, but the display is wrong.

The real problem comes when I seek again at that point, or bookmark the position: even though the correct position plays, the bookmarks will be set to the time that is is displayed.

For example, I can seek to 2:55:00 in a book that is 7:43:00, and the book will play from that point correctly, but the display will show 0:13:00.  When I bookmark it and load the bookmark, or even seek again, playback will continue from the the displayed time.

This does not occur with my .mp3 books.
This happens with all my .m4a books.

I searched flyspray and didn't see related issues. Thoughts?

saratoga:
Its either a bug or lack of RAM.  I would file a bug report with a link to the file.

Lear:
No need for a test file. Simple integer overflow...

I have a clip+, I have not noticed that yet, but I am not sure I put a bookmark in after 2:44 yet. I will check to see if that also happens in my books.

It was fixed in r31581.
