E270v1: Internal Clock Stopped

The clock on Sansa jumped to a random date in 2016 and stopped. I assume this is a hardware problem. OTOH, I had been messing around looking at the settings under Debug/Keep Out.

Is there a setting in the forbidden zone that could have stopped the clock?
