Alarm Clock App
« on: December 29, 2011, 07:09:52 PM »
I have the latest version of RB installed on my Clip+, which works ok. The main reason I installed RB was the alarm feature.

When I go to Plugins>>Alarm_Clock and select the time, if the alarm is for a few hours, then the player goes to sleep mode and then the alarm doesn't work.

I had to switch the Sleep Time to Off (waiting for results as I write) but then I am concerned about the battery use.

Any clues?

Regards

Looking online, wake up was reported working a year ago.  You could try an older release and see if it broke since then.

Many thanks for the prompt reply.

a. There is another Wake Up Alarm in date/time settings, don't know the difference.
b. If the alarm (via pluggin menu) is for lets say 10 minutes, then the music comes on as normal. I have an alarm set for 1:00 AM (UK Time) will see how this one goes when the sleep is set to off.

Will keep posted.

Thanks

The 1:00AM (BST) rocked as normal so no worries when using the Sleep=Off.

I will use this as it is for tonight and will run test.

I have just realised an error on my part. I put Idle = off but the sleep is still at 30 seconds so maybe I was wrong from start.
