Missing Album Art in wps v 3.10 ipod video !

Hi everyone !

I have just updated my ipod video from 3.9 to 3.10 and I used iclassic as the theme, but since the update the artwork will not show  in wps anymore, so I switched to other themes and I noticed there are other themes that have the same issue and some themes like FSM and Plans and.... seem to function correctly!!!

I would appreciate any help and suggestions anyone can have for me

Thanks for reporting the problem (the theme site parser doesn't detect it, and I haven't yet updated to 3.10), I'm away and I won't be able to properly check/fix my themes until a couple weeks, but it seems that the problem might be that those themes have touchscreen commands, and there was a relatively recent touchscreen commands syntax change.

I had in mind that the iPod video would ignore any tocuhscreen areas commands (even if they were wrong), but apparently that isn't the case, or that changed somewhere near release 3.10 (could someone please confirm this?) If those aren't ignored, any touchscreen commands syntax change breaks the themes not only for touchscreen targets (in this case the Cowon D2) which is logic, but also for non touchscreen targets (in this case iPod video).

In the meantime, it seems that removing the touchscreen commands from the theme files fixes the issue. Since I make all the 320x240 themes really for the iPod video, I place all the touchscreen commands together, both in the .sbs and .wps files, so it should be relatively easy to find them and delete them (all the lines beginning with %T( if I remember correctly. I will update them later gradually.

I have tried to follow ur instructions on iclassic but it does not work I was not sure if you meant delete the line starting %T or also the lines starting with %t so I tried both separately and together still did not work.
Also this is only for the wps and sbs files right? not the txt file?

let me know if I have done it the correct way and if you need me to try some other way.

It's only deleting (or commenting out = putting a # character at the beginning of the line) the lines beginning with %T, on the .wps, .sbs and (perhaps) the .fms files. The latter should have no effect on the iPod video, but that could be part of the issue. I can't try it out myself at the moment, hope it works for now.
