Fuze V2 bad uninstall, Loading Firmware, File Not Found
klaberte:
I was in a hurry and did not properly uninstall rockbox from my V2 Fuze. Now when I turn it on, the Rockbox firmware tries to load, but then displays "Loading Firmware, File Not Found". If I try to boot while holding down the left key, it boots into the original firmware (ofw) without problem. However, next power cycle returns to the Rockbox file not found error.
Further complicating things is that I cannot mount the device on any USB slot of my two different laptops. Instead, WinXP reports USB Device Not Recognized.
I will be happy to get back to the original stock firmware, operating without rockbox, but the only way to get there is to hold down the left button while booting.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,

Uninstall the bootloader or install a Rockbox build. The manual has instructions.
klaberte:
Sorry, doesn't work, because I cannot mount the player via usb on any computer (USB Device Not Recognized).
bluebrother:
Boot the Sandisk firmware ...
klaberte:
Ok. The SanDisk firmware boots, but still won't mount via USB on a computer
