Sansa Fuze v1 random disconnect when connected to computer
(1/1)

Hello all! I'm new to Rockbox, but I already have it installed on my Sansa Fuze v1 (firmware version 01.02.31). The problem is, I'm having problems adding music to it. When I plug it in, Windows recognizes it and I can do whatever with it. I start copying over music, and it successfully does this for a few minutes, then Windows says it "Could not find the folder on the drive." This happens randomly during the copy, and the only way I've managed to do anything about it is press "select," which makes the Rockbox boot screen appear. It seems to be a crashing issue, but I don't know the cause. At one point, I managed to keep the screen on and I saw an error screen before it rebooted. I didn't have enough time to see the error code it showed, and I haven't been able to replicate this error screen since.
I'm running Windows 7, and I've checked the USB drives and made sure they were not the problem. Before I installed Rockbox, I had no problems, so it must be a problem that was caused by either a bad installation, or a glitch.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

If you're having trouble with Rockbox USB mode you can still use the sandisk one by rebooting into the other firmware. Its possible that will work better for you.

Thanks! I'll try that next time.
