ipod classic 6 and 6.5 generation

anyone know some way to change the firmware of an ipod classic and abilitate it on linux ubuntu??
or other suggestions??

It has no dulaboot, deletes all your music before installing Rockbox and has limited runtime and can crash occasionaly.
