No Playlist option on the main menu

I've installed Rockbox to my 5th gen ipod and according to the documentation there should be a PLAYLIST option on the main menu but I only have PLAYLIST CATALOG.

Can someone advise please?

Regards

Mike

Seems like the docs are outdated and not reflecting the current state. The Clip+ manual is no different in this regard.

The manual matches the current build, while (iirc) that change (Playlist Catalog being renamed to Playlist) hasn't been made for Rockbox 3.10. And the target is not relevant here, since all manuals are built from the same sources it's either correct or wrong for all manuals, as that is not target specific.

It's always a good idea to mention which build you're using ...

So ... What's hapenning exactly with the playlist menu? The playlist menu doesn't exist anymore. Playlist Catalog is *not* the same as the Playlist menu. The manuals are still referring to the playlist menu, so it's all very confusing. For example, in rockbox 3.9, to create a playlist containing all your music (the root playlist) you had to go to the Playlist menu. How do you do that now?

Chronon:
Try the context menu for the Playlist Catalogue entry.  You can find "Create Playlist" there.
