fuze (01.02.31a) not recognized by computer

hi my friend either deleted or moved or changed the suffixes on some files (e.g. .bin etc). it now says "file not found" and then  "plug usb cable". i plugged itin and nothinghappens. the pc's device mgr pretends it does not exist. and when i start it in the sansa fw i can use the player but not the usb. it shows charging biut still not recognized. i switched the usb mode between "auto", "msc", and "mtp". nothing....
please help. thanx

If the sandisk firmware doesn't work in USB its probably your PC. Try using a different one.

negative. i tried 3 computers.... any other ideas?

and i also tried 2 diff wires which work for my e260. one of which came w the fuze.
