Battery/charging/cutout problems solved!

I got fed up with my Recorder cutting out during important recordings, as it was evidently draining batteries at a rate of knots and plugging in the Archos charger didn't help (didn't even charge the batteries!). Solution: I've soldered a couple of wires to the battery terminals and connected them to a 6V 1A power supply. No sign of the unit overheating so far, even when left on for hours.
