Problems with re-installing RB, after a firmware update. . .Help!
(1/1)
Louis126:
Hi All,
I have attempted to re-install the RB build onto my Clip+ following a Sansa firmware update, however whenever I do so, the RB Utility tells me that I need to use the older (previous) firmware build edition.
Does anyone know what I might be able to do in order to get around this (for example, will I possibly need to go back to the Sansa site and attempt to download an older firmware version)?
The version I am using now (I believe) is 1.02.16. . .but the utility was requesting 1.02.15, instead (at least it was yesterday --- maybe I need to try it again now, and see if the RB site has updated to this newer edition(?)). . .
Thanks!

Just for the record: downloading an older firmware version off of the Sandisk site isn't that much of a problem. Just get the download link for the current firmware file and change the version in the string. Paste it into your browser and download it. Worked fine for 1.02.15 just now.
