How do I use USB on the Sansa Clip+?
(1/1)
Louis126:
OK, now that I have (finally) gotten this to load on my Clip+, MediaMonkey no longer recognizes the Clip+ when plugged in via USB port (neither does my laptop).
So just one question: How the heck am I supposed to add music on to my device NOW???????
Is it normal for RB to do this to an electronic digital media device, like this?
Edit: now with descriptive title
saratoga:
Yes thats normal. We don't have a working USB driver for the Clip+ so you'll need to use the Sandisk firmware for USB mode.
Also, in the future please try to use descriptive thread titles.
Louis126:
Sorry about that. I was wrong. It didn't recognize it the first couple of times I plugged it in, but this 3rd time it does.
My bad.

No problem.
But NOW my only question is, what did I do to make it "USB" compatible this time? I don't even know what I did to make it work this time. But It is obviously back to its original USB firmware right now.
Thanks again. . .

If you're going to edit the title, you could at least try and pick one that is more descriptive.

Are you asking how to dual boot? Power on the player with USB connected. FWIW this is all covered in the manual.
Louis126:
All right.
Thanks for the all the help.
Sorry to be a bother.
