I have to drag & drop separate files for each playlist.

I have a 60 GB 5th generation color video ipod with version 3.9.1 on it. I tried to get my playlists from iTunes on a Mac over to my Rockboxed iPod, but it didn't seem to work. So I made directories (playlists) on my iPod and dragged & dropped files into them. The problem is to get a song into 2 or 3 playlists I have to drag & drop three mp3 files of the same song.

For instance, for the Rolling Stone's Brown Sugar, I have three mp3 files in three separate playlist/directories called Rock N Roll, Party & The Rolling Stones. This is obviously a waste of hard drive space. Is there a way to put a single mp3 file into multiple playlist/directories?

Rockbox is great. Thanks.

Chronon:
Rockbox supports standard m3u playlists -- essentially just a list of paths to media files.  I would advise you to simply organize the music on your player in a useful manner.  Then, with your player attached as a UMS device, you should be able to construct playlists (containing the files on your iPod) with various programs on your PC.  You can also create playlists within Rockbox.
