getting wmapro to work on sansa clip+ (help!)
only an egg:
I have a sansa clip+ that I have rockboxed and am one of the unlucky who have wmapro files drop to the next track partway through the song. I have noticed one behavior of the player that I think may be significant. In the upper right corner of the screen is an icon that I believe indicates that the operating system is accessing memory. The song drops out immediately after the OS accesses memory for the first time during song playback. I assume the OS is paging in the remainder of the song and that the decoding algorithm hiccups when it tries to transfer access from the initially loaded memory, to what is - in effect, the rest of the song.
If I am failing to do something and someone knows what, I would appreciate any help.
Thanx.

Are the Pro files encrypted? Can you post a link to one of them?

i encoded using freac cbr 256K 48 2channel. maybe I should ask a different question, What encoder do people have success with? That might be more helpful. Also what settings?
Also, dare I say it, am I a victim of some strange Vista OS bug?
Thanx.

As far as I know, there is only one WMA Pro encoder, the one made by Microsoft.

Is it possible that since the decoder was taken from ffmpeg, that only settings corresponding to video files will work?
Perplexed.
Also, when I encode using WMP, the rockbox OS doesn't play the songs at all, is there a legacy version of wmapro that I should be using?
