C+ starts playing 1/4 into songs

Hi folks,

What would make my Clip+ skip ahead 1/4 into every dozen songs?
Better yet how do I fix it? It just started it. 


Latest everything.

Corrupted files would be my guess.  Does it always happen on the same songs?

Nope. When I left click the same song it plays correctly from the start.
I just added ReplayGain data to all files with Fubar2000 so corruption may be an idea.


UPDATE: I improved it and thereby found the problem. The Database.
Now it only jumps forward every 3 dozen songs. Initiallize the database and have it auto-update. Not sue about loading it to RAM or not.

Double check that you didn't end up with APE tags on mp3 files. Some replaygain tools like to do that.

I just checked. Fubar2000 doesn't tick APE in the MP3 area by default. Thanks.
