My blind friend bought a Clip+ and I'm trying to install rockbox for him remotely.  Here's the problem.  I copied the .rockbox to the root, but the thing comes out of the box in mtp mode, so I can't install the bootloader.  I've tried, using my clip as well, talking him through the clicks to change the mode.  No go.  Is there any way to force msc mode or will he just need sighted help?

Update.  He got some sighted help and is now rockin' Rockbox.  Still, if there is a method to do this other than the usual, please let me know.  Thanks.
