Which Rockbox stable device has the most memory?

check http://www.rockbox.org/wiki/DeviceChart, there you have all supported devices with their features listed (capacity too). But as far as I know no player with a stable rockbox port has more than 100 gigabytes. The iPod Video is available with 80 gigs and is a stable port. There are 120 and 160 gigabyte 6th gen iPods (iPod classic), but the port is is in an unusable state, but many people have no problem running rockbox on their 6th gen. iPod.

Then there is the possibility of modding a device with larger capacity drives or flash cards. E.g. the iPod video can have 240 gigabyte of capacity then.

Memory: I'd be surprised if *any* of the supported devices had even ONE gigabyte of memory, let alone 100 gigabytes.  I'm not sure how much the ipod 5.5 has, but i'd guess maybe a half gig or a quarter?  maybe even less, I haven't looked up the specs and I might be grossly mis-estimating.

However I don't think you're asking about "memory", also known as RAM (among other terms), you seem to be asking about storage capacity (which is something completely different), as already addressed by c_k's response.  In this case I defer to his response:  the ipod 5.5gen has an 80gig version which you could probably find on ebay or amazon for less than $200 if you're lucky, and a few different ipods can be modded to use a 240-gig hard drive which c_k mentioned also, and you can find more details about, i believe, if you search other forum posts here.

Wrong. RAM is "Random Access Memory". Not all memory is RAM. Other types of memory are e.g. ROM, flash memory, or (gasp!) storage systems like hard drives. It's true that many people tend to not use the word in that last sense very often, but it's still a correct and valid meaning of the word.
