Unbricking iriver H10 5GB?
« on: November 09, 2011, 09:00:17 AM »
My iriver h10 seems to be bricked. I see the RockBox splash screen briefly, then I get a white screen with the message "Data abort at 0004D378 (0). When this occurs, I can no longer use the off button to turn it off, and I can't get it into USB mode to reload the RockBox software--the boot utility doesn't see it as a removable drive. Does this iriver model have a reset button somewhere? I can't see it.

The only way to turn it off after I get the data abort message is to disconnect the battery.

The iriver splash screen shows UM 1.10

Rockbox boot = 6
Rockbox build number = r30084-110627

Thanks.
