Iriver H300 CF mod guide

Hi all!

Could someone describe all the actions needed for Iriver H320 CFMod step by step?
I cannot get it clear from Wiki page...

1. What should I do with this file http://www.rockbox.org/wiki/pub/Main/CFModGuide/H300.zip??? I see there's just a .hex file in the archive.
Should I run firmware update from inside the original Iriver firmware on this file? Or choose it in Rockbox utility when installing the Rockbox?
2. For Iriver IHP-100 there is a large detailed bootloader install procedure, and what I see for H300 is a few words with this hex file and with no other stuff like it is with IHP-100
3. What are further steps?
4. What format CF card should have?

It would be so great if someone who succeeded in this stuff helped me with description of each step he made in details.

P.S. Sorry for creating a separate thread, but the forum is nearly dead and I haven't got any answers for long time. And my request is quite urgent since HDD in my H320 becomes problematic.

bluebrother can tell you better than I can whether or not Rockbox Utility will use a user specified bootloader to patch a copy of iriver's firmware.  Otherwise, there are instructions on how to manually install a bootloader in the manual.
