help rockbox can't install

i fanilly got my jbr fm to work. only probrem is rockbox can't install. i tired both the zip file and the windows installer. all it says is:

cannot create .rockbox (or file in .rockbox floder if using installer) data error cyclic redundancy check

uh oh... i just noticed if i try to put ANYTHING inside my jbr fm it shows that error..........

what is wrong!?!?!? i got past that error u have to unzip it direct to the hardrive. but when i unzip it  jbr still uses original firmware!!!!! and if i drag anything into it it says the error mention above. and even when i unzip it when i go inside it all it shows is music. nothing else. ino folders nothing. help! god this is annoying


edit i ran crcheck3 who supposedly checks for these errors and evrything passed

help me!!! anf i found out in my computer all it shows is the music in the root directory. it does not show folders or music in other dircetories. help!!!!!!!

Your filesystem seems to be severely screwed up. Run scandisk or reformat.

finally a awnser anyways scan disk says its okay, and  i wanted to reformatt from the bigening but how? and i don't have dos or any money


edit even tho scan disk says its okay i think its messed up also.  because sometimes i get hardrive errors and such

omg!!! i love life! i was just about to sell my jbr fm on ebay because reformating didn't work.... when i decided to open it instead. when i got the bumbers off... and was pulling on the case cover i snaped to my seances and thought... what am i doing?!?! i have no skills whats so ever no soldering... nothing. so i put it back together and tried it. it worked!!! god i love u! i wanna hug someone!! come Daniel Stenberg hugs are free!



btw.... u know the two screws that hold the battery cover on for the jbr fm. i lost on of em. anyone know specs of it or where i can buy em?
