Hey guys, I've got a question...

I tried converting the video into 160x128 but it doesn't seem to work that way. It's only working on 112x64, right?

I didn't. I converted the original .avi into 160x128 using BPS Video Converter & Decompiler. But it's displayed in 112x64 and all messed up. Probably, as you say, the rvf_mux has to be edited. I thought it may just mix audio and video without resizing.

I wonder if the video capability can be incorporated into the H120 optimized builds that is being offered up by pilot000 over at MisticRiver?

hey can you please help me with this one. I am a true rockbox n00b and I really want to play video on my H120. as I seem to get it, my video-files need to be in .rvf-format. The only problem is that I have no idea of how I should do that. I saw the guide on thise site, but the link to the tools you needed is broken....

everything in a package  ;)

http://www.filelodge.com/files/hdd6/131420/video.zip

this rvf mux resizes it very small if on ihp120 so you need to get a modify version.

Enjoy

oh and read the text file to learn how

so am I right when I say that there is no version that really works yet?
btw thanks for the help bigtime! im gonna try this out now! :)

EDIT
allright I have no idea how to use this program. I only get an error: RVF muf failed to initialise file.
whats wrong?

EDIT2
Ok, so I got the files to convert now. although, now when I try to watch them in the player, the player dont recognize the files as playable. is there another patch I need?

EDIT3
Ok I got thye video to work. there are two problems though:
the video is just a little winow in the left upper corner, is that it? can it be bigger or more in the middle?
and anotehr thing. the latest firmware I downloaded from misticriver.net is really great. it doesnt support rvf though. ias there someway I can mix the video-patch into the latest ive got?

thanx for helping!

not yet completed
'WETT' was working on it but i'm not sure if he still is...
the one i posted is few months old = outdated
the window is small because it's based on the archos plugin
two things you can do here...
1. learn how to program
2. be patient and wait

i'm going with the second choice :p
