Rockbox and SansaClip +

Hi

I just bought a sansaclip plus and when I try installing rockbox it tells me i need the firemware

I went to the forum and cant find any firemware to download (I followed the instructions their)

still nothing..

Does anyone have a link to the firemware? (one that works..)

That link won't work since we haven't updated rbutil to work with the latest firmware.  You need to either grab an older one from the forums or use the link on the wiki.

okay ive downloaded that and see 3 files when i click on the file clpp_data I get error unknown firmeware.. why?

Wrong file.  You need to give it the bin file.

I assumed above that you ran rbutility (the installer for rockbox).  Did you?  If so, it should have asked you for that bin file when you tried to install.  You're supposed to give it the bin file, not try to play it with VLC.

See the install directions in the manual if you have any other questions.
