Database: ID3 Frames "sort order" TSOA TSOP support?

There are so many standard id3v2 tags that most of them are never used.

Maybe, but I find these ones in particular very useful (mainly to display albums in a chronological order)
I use them on my computer, on my squeezebox system, and on my wife's ipod...
The only device I can't use them (and apparently with no workaround) is my sansa clip (with or without rockbox).

They are so many things that can be controlled with rockbox, unfortunately, you can't control which tags are to be included in the DB...

It's always possible that someone will decide it's worth working on and submits a patch.   ;)

Yes, I'll keep checking... as I've no plan to change my sansa clip.
And no plan to go back to the original firmware (which doesn't recognize the albumartist frame...) either.

There seems to have been a patch which is not working anymore:

The patch worked, but it needs a lot of ram, which is why it's not committed yet.
